In partnership with Lifeway Mobility, Wynne Hires is accepting applications and interviewing immediately for an experienced Equipment Installation Technician with Sales Acumen, for Lifeway Mobility’s Harrisburg, PA, and Regional Area.

Total Rewards: $28 – $30/hour with performance-based raises.

This position is not tied to a specific Branch location. This is an on-the-road role, with overnight travel as needed.

Qualified candidates must have relationship-building skills that will enable them to build trust with customers. We are looking to hire an individual experienced in residential or commercial mobility/accessibility equipment. Experience installing and servicing stairlifts and ramps is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Responding to leads generated by the local S. Department of Veterans Affairs office, Lifeway Mobility suppliers, and other referral sources, schedule and meet with clients to conduct a needs assessment of the home and make recommendations that will enable customers to navigate activities of daily living (ADLs) safely and effectively, such as entering and leaving the home, moving from one level to another in the home, utilization of bathrooms, bedrooms, and other areas where movement can cause a fall.
Present solutions to customers and demonstrate how these life changing solutions can be installed in the home.
Utilize Lifeway Mobility tools and measurement protocols to determine feasibility of products that are needed.
Produce an estimate and proposal for customers as needed including assistance with purchase options, financing, or rental options.
Complete documentation for new customers to ensure compliance with paperwork for installation.
Install, repair, or remove accessibility products including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts (straight and custom) and bathroom safety solutions.
Provide 5-star customer service to all customers, ensuring needs are met.
Attend manufacturer training and on-the-job training.
Be accountable to work independently and model Lifeway Mobility’s mission, vision, values, and goals.
Collect required payments on completed service and installations, as needed.
Maintain Lifeway Mobility company vehicle cleanliness, follow all speed limits and obey traffic signs and signals.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

At least three years’ experience in residential or commercial equipment installation. Experience with stairlifts and ramps strongly preferred.
Mechanic License preferred.
Must be able to work in ERP company software.
Understand and maintain professional boundaries.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

This job is performed both inside and outside, in summer and winter; conditions are typical for outside physical work.
Employees will be required to use various hand tools; noise is typical of a construction site.
Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
Ability to lift above head and maintain position for short periods (frequent overhead work)
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round.
Ability to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at heights.
